• Psychodrama Wellbeing Groups – 4 Series – 6 Monday Evenings

    About the Workshops

Psychodrama is an experiential method of group psychotherapy and discovery established by Dr J.L.Moreno that uses guided dramatic action, role playing scenes from life in the present moment, to allow the truth of our life stories to emerge and for us to understand how we think, feel and act in any moment. This “in the moment“ experience enables the development of new perspectives and self awareness enabling us to know ourselves and to make crucial changes to our responses and how we live. It is a very different way of working with life issues that frequently results in the development of new possibilities.

At its heart psychodrama is concerned with developing positive, effective and satisfying relationships for life.

This is a wonderful opportunity for personal development. You will explore your life, gain clarity, develop new perspectives, learn from others and make changes that will assist you to more successfully navigate life.

The focus is on helping you explore your life and to develop your capacity to live well.

    Who will Benefit?

Individuals who are interested in experiencing improved personal and relationship wellbeing and are open and curious about life.

Participants who are negotiating change and are keen to make new choices in their thinking and behaviour.

People who are interested in becoming more engaged and enlivened.

    About Simon Parker

I am an experienced and qualified Psychodramatist, a registered Psychologist, a member of the Psychodrama Institute of Melbourne’s Moreno Psychodrama Society, and the Australian Psychological Society. I have over 20 years experience as a psychologist and group facilitator. I have extensive training and personal experience in psychodrama and a great enthusiasm for the value that psychodrama has in helping individuals to live with greater joy, spontaneity and integrity.

I love engaging people in developing curiosity about themselves and each other and supporting them in a confidential supportive group to discover new knowledge, self awareness and actions that enable them to live well. My work is strongly influenced by the new fields of Positive Psychology and Appreciative Inquiry that are concerned with “what works” and that help people to thrive. I warmly invite you to participate in my workshops and to experience how psychodrama can assist you to live well.
